Hey, I'm Aidan!
Welcome to my little corner of the internet! My name is Aidan Coy, and I’m a recent Elon University graduate with a B.A. in Strategic Communications and Communication Design. I’m passionate about graphic design, social media, and all things creative, though I’m open and excited to dive into any role where I can bring my skills and fresh ideas to life.At Elon, I had the chance to lead as the Director of Etalk, our on-campus TV show, where I ran the production board and helped keep live broadcasts smooth and engaging. I also got hands-on experience with Elon’s Sports Vision scholars, working behind the scenes as a replay operator, camera crew member, and color commentator at various athletic events, which taught me the power of teamwork and quick thinking under pressure.
I was also deeply involved with Vital Signs, one of Elon’s premier a cappella groups, where I served as President. I enjoyed leading the charge on designing and promoting marketing materials, concert graphics, and merchandise that helped our group shine both on and off stage.
Through these experiences, along with several internships, I’ve developed a creative approach grounded in collaboration, innovation, and a genuine love for design and communication. Education
I graduated from Elon University in May 2025 with a B.A. in Strategic Communications and Communication Design. I was proud to earn honors, finishing with a 3.55 GPA. My coursework balanced visual design, branding, media strategy, and hands-on creative storytelling, all of which helped shape the designer and communicator I am today.
Elon’s nationally recognized communications program taught me more than just professional skills. It taught me how to think critically, go the extra mile, and always ask “why.” Many companies can train someone to use Canva or Illustrator and hand them a marketing or PR title. But real growth happens when you can identify what a company needs to improve, what should evolve, and what strategies will move it forward.
The difference between a good campaign and a great one lies in the people who question assumptions, who bring data and market insight to the table, and who think beyond surface-level design. That mindset to ask why, to research deeply, and to think strategically is what Elon instilled in me, and it is the greatest strength I bring into the workforce.
Hobbies & Extracurriculars
Since being creative is my job, I definitely enjoy seeing and identifying current market trends and tactics that other companies are using, and seeing if I can spin that to match what I'm doing. Outside of that, I love to fish, sing, workout, go for long drives, spend time with friends and family, be a die hard Cleveland Browns fan :( and whatever new obsession I might have in the given month.
